Phone: 410-560-9960 Susan joined Berman McAleer in November 2010 after nearly six years experience in the industry. She completed her undergraduate education through Penn State University and holds several degrees, among them, International Business and French. She obtained the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation in 2010 and is slated to begin pursuing her Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation in 2011.
Prior to entering the industry, Susan helped manage the training department for a local Baltimore firm. She has considerable knowledge constructing educational courses and seminars and enjoys presenting and public speaking. Susan has also been featured on CBS Radio’s “Communicating to Win”.
Currently serving on the Government Relations Committee of the Financial Planning Association of Maryland, Susan is interested in promoting financial literacy to people of all ages and has given several talks to Maryland high school students on the subject. She holds her Life & Health Insurance license in both Pennsylvania and Maryland and she is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Susan currently lives in a small town just north of the border with her husband Matt, who is a local business owner, and her daughter Mina. She enjoys dancing, gardening and summer camping trips with her family.
